About
When asked how long I have been a photographer I always say “a million years”. It feels that way, as if it is in my core, my soul. It was me before I was me.
To break it down, I’ve had a camera in my hand for over 30 years. Photography is a beautiful and fun way to see the world, the space, the moment. Capturing a story in a fleeting moment is a challenge I live for.
As a former staff photographer in the newspaper/editorial world it was my job and joy to tell a complete story in one, or if I was lucky, two-three images. This innate ability to capture the entire scenario in just a few images carries over perfectly into the interiors and architectural photography worlds.
Photographing spaces is a natural fit for me. Each room, house, home, building, structure tells a story and I relish the challenge of unfolding that tale, feeling it, seeing it and highlighting it in a photographic essay.
